Race for the Cure

"Ba-lloooons! Pink!! Raisins? raisins? raisins? raisins?!..."
(We can't go anywhere without them these days...thanks Memaw!)

Not content to be only a viewer, Hannah decides to get in the race.
Check it - both feet off the ground!

Yaaaaay!! As always, Hannah hams it up for "her fans"...

Almost there.... This stretch of raised "benches" along the Embarcadero was our saving grace in actually making it to the finish line. With the sun at our backs, she chased her shadow all the way home.

Nonetheless, by the time we crossed the finish line (~11am), the race was long over. If we weren't last, we were close to it! At nearly 2 hours, I think we won the ribbon for the Slowest 5k Ever... Next year, the stroller will not be left behind.

Anyway, congratulations to Team Sister Christian, in whose honor we "raced." They came in 4th Place for raising money for Breast Cancer Research of all participating teams, just behind Chevron!
