Hannah's Favorite Thing To Do...

Is READ! Point, say word, repeat... point, say word, repeat... Hannah has her own bookshelf in the corner of the living room. She likes to select a book and then present it to mom or dad. She will then plunk herself down in a nice comfortable lap of either parental unit and begin her meticulous analysis and consideration of all content in earnest. She remembers where images of the same type are located and she loves to flip furiously back and forth between pages to point out the repeated froggy, banana, bumble bee, or ball. As well, Hannah loves to confirm that she knows where everything outside of her books matches up with the pictures she can point to in her books. The 'fridge, a lamp, an orange... a guitar a car a chair, or event the sun, the moon or a cloud... she loves to identify and confirm - over and over again - the likeness of things. Here she is reading with mom - her current favorite book Maisy's Amazing Big Book of Words, for the umpteenth millionth time... Even at such a young age, it it evident that the comfort and confidence of knowing equates to nothing less than unadulterated peace and joy! "Hannah, what book do you want to read next?
