Hannah 12/21/07 :: Zoë 11/6/10
At 10 months, Hannah's teeth have finally started to poke through on the bottom. We've seen a couple of white dots down there for about a week, but after chomping on some teething biscuits (and as usual, every take-out menu, flip flop, or tabletop she can get her hands on), they are definitely making their way through. She seems pensive about losing that cute toothless grin of hers. But i think once she learns about all the things she can now truly destroy with
those choppers, she'll brighten back up.
investigating her surroundings. She can easily cruise all over the house, and is loving "walking around" while we hold her hands. Which is why we finally got her her first pair of real shoes -- although she didn't have them yet when she was taking the playground by storm in Corte Madera. Memaw watched the showdown between Hannah and this 1-year old boy -- I think in the end she won, scaring off the gigantic tyke with her vicious snarl...
When she's not scaring off little boys, she is getting more interactive with other babies/kids, likes reading stories (if only for the fun-sounds-animals-make part), and LOVES playing her favorite game -- "Where's Hannah?" (aka Hide & Seek). Other variations of her favorite game include "Where's the Button?" and "Where's the Baby?" -- we are constantly amazed by all the words she's picking up and understanding! We have yet to get more adventurous foodwise than yogurt and cheese, both of which she likes. Along with her favorite hat... thanks Keplers!

Randall, Hannah had a blast with you last week, and especially enjoyed your guitar playing. Hope you have a happy birthday and Hannah sends you hugs. P.S. she wants you to know that she has a pair of shoes that are a little big on her, and in the tradition of "hand-me-down" gifts championed by her Grand-Uncle, she was thinking you might like them. Sounds like she might have a little of the Brown family sense of humor bubbling out already... here are a couple pictures of Hannah & Randall...
