Hi Boppa!

First Trip to Chicago

Hannah loves grabbing everything she can - and LOVES playing with fingers, both hers and everybody else's!

She is having a blast here, "holding hands" with cousins Jack and Kate, during their very first meeting.

New definition for "Packin' Heat"

Hannah and Kristina getting the full TSA search... Hey lady, the bib says "I am too CUTE", not "Search Me I Carry Guns & Drugs." "No really, it's cool. I have a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG surprise waiting for you inside my diaper." "What's that?" "Oooooops, I WAS hiding something after all. Yes, I said POO BOMB, what are you going to do, search me again? Oh, well, I bet we all feel safer now!"
No sweat. Hannah had no problems and took the frisk-down in stride. She even seemed to enjoy her plane ride. She obviously had an easier time than the person sitting in the window seat before her...

Visit to the Doctor's Office

We measured Hannah on her trusty short-board and it looked to us as though she was just under 26" tall. A couple days later we received the official statistics as ordained by the Pediatrician. On day 123 (17 weeks and 4 days) Hannah is 14 lbs, 15 oz and 25.5 inches tall. Her head circumference is 41 cm. I am not sure what that means in the grand scheme of life, but it is clearly more fun to be measured at home by mom and dad than it is to be at the pediatrician's office... AND she is a half inch taller by our trusty surf board's standards... HANG TEN Hannah!

4 Months!

Hannah had her 4 month birthday today, and boy was she in the mood to PARTY! Which is good, because tomorrow, she gets another round of vaccinations. At least we'll find out her height, weight, and perhaps most interestingly, head circumference. Because as you can see, all that cake and ice cream has really gone to her head!

Golden Gate Park

Hangin' with Samantha & Amelia in Golden Gate Park...

On the way back from Land's End, Kristina and I walked up through Golden Gate Park and met our friends Jarrod, Stephanie, their daughter Samantha, and their lovable terrier, Baxter. Samantha (above, with Stephanie) is 14 months young, and her cousin Amelia (below, playing with Uncle Jarrod) is a month older. It is hard to fathom how quickly things change - will Hannah be that size in less than one year's time? I better baby proof the apartment soon!
